I am selling a beautiful set of Vintage hub caps designed to fit ta 1965-1970 P1800S, 123GT and 122S sedans and wagons – with 15″ rims.These hub caps were used to hold the chrome trim rings in place on these same vehicles.
I set these hub caps aside for a close buddy named Robert Burke who wanted to restore his 123GT-ized two door 122S coupe, but he never got the opportunity to complete the project.
I have added photos of this set of chrome hub caps as well as a photo of a different set on a red 122S I restored a few years back, so you may get an idea of how great they could look on your own classic Volvo. There is a lot of light reflection and scattering in the photos. This is a consequence of using an indoor flash and does not reveal scratches or dents in the hubcaps, because they are in very good original (50 year old) condition.
Some years ago I bought most of the stock from a Volvo parts supplier in Berkeley called RPR. Much of that stock remains including original NOS interior trunk upholstery for a P1800S or P1800E sedan, mufflers for the P1800S,E, and ES models and a complete Volvo exhaust system, with original resonator, for a 122S sedan and wagon as well as original side chrome, hub caps and trim rings for the 122S a sedan or wagon, carburetors, Overdrive switches and relays, and a great many badges and trim pieces. for the 123GT, 122S, P1800 and 140 and 240 sedans and wagons.
