I am selling my car for retirement money. 4 years ago I drove this car from Spokane area to Pensacola, FL then Dallas, TX then on to Los Angeles then back home to N. Idaho. It was a 5 week trip with no problems at all. I used to live in Olympia and have been to Seattle area many many times. I have seen many young professionals in sports cars, and other high value cars. This car I am selling is one that you will probably not see again or if you do it would be like seeing a wold in the wild. They are very rare to see and surely will turn a head when you drive it through town or go to a party and show up in this car. Hardly anyone will know what it is. This is a genuine Swedish built Volvo. I do not think any of the fancy expensive sports cars will look this good or even be around in 42 years. The cousin of this car, the P1800 sports coupe is the record holder for miles on a single car, the owner has over 3 million miles on it. This car purrs and is very smooth with only a 4 cylinder motor.
New brakes and rotors all 4 wheels, electronic ignition, new paint in original color, re upholstered seats, the car is about 85-90% restored, runs great, looks great, and very rare. Only 8078 were made in 1972 and 1973, 1/2 of those came to US, out of those 4000 cars that were here 42 years ago, fewer still were the 1973 4- speed with electric overdrive. Out of those that were, a majority are gone in rust buckets. There are only a handful of these remaining in this condition. Delivery available or you can arrange to be picked up.
