This Volvo P1800E-72 is one of the last sports car from the 1800 series made. The serial number is 39355, and only 1,864 cars were made of the 1972 years model. Only a very limited amount of the 1972 years model is left.
This car has been and is owned by the same owner for 32 years. The car is in original condition. No major renovation or restoration has been done, except the engine was replace a few years ago with an original Volvo engine (no after-market) and the transmission /overdrive was overhauled at the same time. All the exhaust have been replaced as well as the shocks/struts, and all bushings and ball joints for the suspension has recently been replaced.
This car is in great condition. Everything works great, except the clock does not work and the radio has weak reception. The car has a well working air conditioner. The interior is in great condition with original carpet and leather seats (no after-market). This car needs nothing done; it’s ready for a new owner.
The car has been in several classic car shows. The car has only been driven a few times a month for the last 25 years and only for a short distance. The car has been garaged for 95% of its lifetime.
This is an investment car that will go up in value every year. The car has never been in any accidents. I am willing to look at any reasonable offer.
