This is a Volvo ” Concept” Car, (last pic shows pic off internet we used to fabricate Body)

This is a 71″, so, 4 wheel Disc Brakes. The body has gone thru many changes, most notably, Removal of “Fins, Rain Gutters, changing the Quarter Windows to 911 Shape, All wheel arches enlarged, (using New, BMW e36Repair Arches), Headlights Reconfigured, along with the front Grill and P1800 ES Taillights. All this body- work as done with Steel- Welding, No Fiber-Glass Whatsoever.

The Drive Line, starting with the Engine, is a Volvo Penta, AQ171, a very Rare and limited, two year production, 2.5 ltr.Twin Cam, 16 Valve, ( Head developed by Porsche), the “171” indicates the HP, in the Marine Dress, (water cooled Exhaust Manifold and two single bbl. Solex Downdraft Carburetors), obviously these components are removed and replaced with a pair of Dellorto 40mm Side Draft Carbs and full length Stainless Steel Headers, (I’m guessing closer to 190-200HP). The Transmission is a Borg Warner T5, 5 Speed. Exhaust is large dia. Stainless Steel. The rear end is original, disc Brake, stock. In addition, the suspension has High Performance, Lowering Springs and Red Koni Shocks all around.
The Interior is primary Original, but with different/ upgraded Leather Seats and New Door Cards.

This car has been a Summertime Daily Driver for a couple years since all the work was done, with approx. 2,k miles. All the bushings on the Front-End have been replaced with the exception of the lower “A” arm Bushings, (I have them , just haven’t done them), and it needs them done.
The Paint is called “Spruce Green” but is actually a Metallic Silver with a slight green tint. Paint is Fairly nice but I must Confess, painted by me and defiantly not “Show” Quality, using PPG, Base Coat/ Clear Coat. Again, this is a wonderful “Daily Driver”, and around hear, most people think that it is an Austin Martin?, (not surprising, I’m in the boon docks here). This Body originally had no rust on the outer body, rockers wheel arches etc, only a small area on the passenger side floor panel which was cut out and a new panel welded in.
