I am selling this car on be half of my Uncle’s estate. He said he purchased the vehicle in 1997 from the original owner, who sold it because she was not well enough to drive anymore.
It has been sitting in his garage for more than a year. I replaced the battery and put gas in it and it started right away. I towed the Volvo to Walsh Brothers Inc, they are one of two places I could find who specialize in classic Volvos in the Bay Area. They recommended removing the fuel tank to have it cleaned and inspect the fuel system. Also, replace the rotors, pads and calipers, master cylinder and brake lines before they could test further. They noted that the water pump leaks.
There is no visible rust damage or bubbles in the paint. I have added photos of under the car and of the engine.
