The engine on this car was rebuilt recently taking it to a B20 displacement, increasing HP as well as improved drivability with the addition of electronic ignition, improved cooling system and dual side draft 2-barrel Weber carburettors.
The M41 4-speed transmission with electric overdrive is standard in this model year. I have all the full and complete maintenance and service records since its beginning. This Volvo is in the Global Register of Volvo 1800S
