Very good condition 1966 Volvo P1800S B18.
For the first few years of the P1800 series, the Jensen corporation of England manufactured the Volvo P1800 under license from Volvo. The Volvo company was not happy with the quality of the early Jensen cars and brought the production home to Sweden. The car was then badged with the “P1800S” with the S standing for Sweden.
The New Yorker, Irv Gordon, has the Guiness book of world record distinction of owning the car with the most miles officially on the odometer. His original one-owner 1966 P1800S has driven more than 3 million miles and is still running strong. It is equipped with the iconic Volvo B18 engine and his car is identical to the one I have for sale here. Needless to say, this car is extremely strong and reliable if being maintained.

The car is in beautiful shape inside and out. I would rate the interior at 9-10 out of 10. The early versions has a very beautiful design. The 70′ versions has a very different and wooden trim, which I would argue are much less classic and less appreciated by collectors.
The exterior is beautiful with no corrosion, no dents and beautiful chrome. The paint is looking great, but when looking closer, there are some inperfections. Overall the exterior is 8 out of 10. A new paint job (not required since no corrosion) will bring it to 10 out of 10.
The car is mechanically very sound and reliable and I would rate it 10 out of 10 mechanically. This car could be used as a DD. I have spend the last 18 months on getting it in perfect shape. I even flew my friend in from Sweden. He is a mechanical engineer and has been working on Volvos his entire life. He did most of the work mentioned on the list below. I have had the following things overhauled/replaced/fixed:
Gearbox overhauled (new seals, adjusted etc.)
New Rocker cover gasket
New oil seals
Carburettors adjusted
Engine valves adjusted
Fuel pump overhauled
New Fuel lines
New alternator
New battery
New Spark plugs
New handbrake cables
New Wheel cylinder (brakes)
Break lights fixed
New outer tire rods
New fixed ball joints
New control arm bushings
Suspension geometry adjusted

The car has a clean title and is driving on VA plates.

P1800 values have been steadily appreciating, and several experts believe they will increase drastically in value in the near future (see photos). I wish I could keep this one, but need room for a convertible in my garage.
