This classic 1972 Volvo P1800ES, automatic transmission has been my reliable daily driver for 5 years and in that time I have replaced or repaired most every part that needed it. The body is in generally good condition but does have some rust and is in need of a paint job. The interior is in good/very good condition. The odometer reads 50,000 odd miles but is wrong, I have no idea what the real mileage on the car is.
Parts that have been replaced in the last five years: Upper and lower bushings, bushing sway bars, motor mounts, transmission mounts, entire exhaust system including the manifold, gaskets, valves, speedometer, voltage regulator, battery, alternator, master cylinder, temperature sensor on cylinder head, spark plugs, fuel injectors, connectors at engine coil, new high pressure fuel line, front flexible brake hoses, emergency brake cable, some of the wiring, lights and other incidental parts. The Capital Sport tires have less than 30,000 miles.
Additional repairs to keep the car reliable have been made along the way.
This is a fun and functional car that is ready for the next classic car enthusiast to love and drive her.
