It is a Volvo 1800s 1968 Volvo 1800s b18 4 cylinder engine with 7000 miles since rebuild in 1995.
Has 4 speed with overdrive transmission.Work at volvo dealer and sold parts on ebay for many years held aside parts for my car and used as needed. Full mechanical restoration, brakes suspension, cooling system, fuel system, interior, dash and rubber seals. Body in same condition as it was when I purchased car in 1989 had been repainted and had some rust repair on floor, wheel well and fenders.
There are still some area that need attention. The left fender has spot lifting on top. The rockers need repair or replacement. Left rear wheel well was previously repaired shows rust spots inside trunk. Under hood has had extensive work. The battery box was replaced and engine compartment cleaned and painted. Steering box removed new coupling installed with firewall seal. Engine which came from 67 1800 was bored, new pistons, camshaft, timing gears, lifters, main and rod bearings, oil pump seals, updated front and rear crank seals, genuine volvo head gasket and all parts removed cleaned and painted.
Engine runs strong no oil leaks compression 180 psi even all 4 cylinders, 80mph smooth on highway. Cooling system radiator 3 row recore, new genuine volvo water pump , new heater control valve and all new hoses. Fuel system carburetors rebuilt and gas tank repaired. Has 4 new michelin 165/sr/15 tires that I purchased before michelin stopped making. Brakes have have new drums, rotors, pads, shoes, wheel cylinders, stainless steel caliper pistons. Brass sleeved master cylinder and servo with new repair kits, all new cupronickel brake lines and new parking brake cables. New stainless steel exhaust. Interior seats completely redone new foam, webbing and covers, new door panels, armrests, carpets and upper panel cushions.
Only thing not replaced was the wheel well fabric and the rear upper panels where the interior lights are. Exterior has new jensen eggrcate grille and surround. New front and rear emblems , new rear light units, new front flasher units and lens , new headlight rings and new bumper rubbers and retainers. Clock does not work and tach reads high otherwise everything works on car. All bulbs replaced when dash was out for recover. New firewall insulation, turn signal and overdrive switches replaced.
Priced to sell at $19000 includes new windshield , front and rear seals, trims, mudflaps and other parts. Have new right front fender and many other sheet metal parts available at extra cost.
