Hi I’m selling my 1968 P1800 after 27 years of ownership. I bought the car from a guy who had it for about 20 years. The reason I’m selling this car is I need a work truck.
Runs Amazing! Installed a new B20 when I got the car and it is still in great condition. The SU carbs are set up perfect and it has really good power for a P1800. Doesn’t use any oil. Doesn’t get hot. Brakes calipers, pads, hoses, master cylinder and shoes have all been replaced. The overdrive works and is a joy to use. The heater works works really well. I can go on and on about all work that has been done to this car over the years. Probably best just to see it in person and check it out for yourself. Never really put a ton of miles on it just driven around town on weekends and an occasional trip down the coast. Original deep red color. Has tools and books and service records. The car presents very well, but it does have few cosmetic issues: the interior has great patina, so depending on your taste…there is a crack in the paint above the drivers side rear wheel arch, the back panel has some light paint damage. Overall the car looks great, I get tons of compliments all the time This car is a real surviver that has nice patina, but is in great overall condition. No Rust. Original black plate California car.
