This 1961 Volvo P1800 was built by Jensen in the UK for Volvo and recently restored to its original factory specs. Original engine (checked with factory and delivery documents), bored 0.030″ and completely rebuilt. The car retains a 4 speed transmission, with no overdrive as it would have had in 1961.

This car was taken down to bare metal, all rust was cut out and replaced with new sheet metal. The body was painted in its original Volvo red, code 70. The interior was completely redone in the correct factory color code. All gauges have been repaired and calibrated, all electrical components work as they should.

All aspects of the vehicle were addressed in the restoration. Gerabox, steering box, rear axle, brakes, and other critical components were restored by Volvo specialists to ensure a quality restoration. Jensen-specific components were kept such as the wheel covers and seats.

The car is ready to be enjoyed. Mileage will continue to increase slightly as the car is enjoyed. It has a clear Arizona title and will come with a phot book detailing the restoration process.
